Work tonight should be fun because Zach will be there to "train" us. Remind me to bring my D&D book.
I think someone's going to have to slap a coat or two of primer on the walls of House 2.0. I don't want to have to scrunch it all in together. We've got the kitchen and bathroom paint ready, but I don't know if the walls are completely done yet. I might just do it anyway. I'm sick of dragging my feet.
I should apply for at least three jobs this weekend. That would be good. Tipper wanted to me apply for this one from captionmax which involves writing scripts describing tv shows for the blind, and also possibly recording the scripts. I didn't like the sound of it at first, but now it sounds kind of interesting. Three things bug me. One, very nonspecific on the pay, it only says "entry level compensation" which sounds crappy. Two, it's second shift, which just seems unnecessary. Three, it says "be willing to work overtime if needed, which seems code to me for "always."
So, I don't know. Doesn't hurt to apply, I guess.
I should also write up a proposal for the TVTV internet division. I get the general impression that they're very unenthusiastic about doing an internet show, but that can be very lucrative, and you can never really get canceled, you just stop making money, and you've got no one else to blame. A lot of people are getting TV and book deals from the net. It's the wave of the future!
